Shooting Josh and Karyn’s wedding was a fun experience for me.
What made it so memorable was that I got a chance to experience their family and community in action. Thanks to my dear friend Mercedes Morgan, I got to come along to record this wedding as though I was the only one photographing (she had her hunny as her second shooter this time). To be sure there were at least four professional photographers at the wedding and three of them were shooting (aaaah community!). Besides the company of all these photographers and the love that was obviously displayed by the couple and their community, the detailed planning and so many other things made the experience fun. As you will observe from the huge number of photos in the post, I had a blast observing the love of this couple in such an amazing community!
The setup at the Palm Door was rustic on the outside and just gorgeous inside…and everything was perfectly placed.
It was neat to hang out with the ladies as they got ready shared jokes and told stories…all the while making fun faces in the mirror.
Karyn was just stunning and details on her hand made bouquet was just amazing with attached photos of family to boot!
Coool details!
The groomsmen were all looking very handsome while the ring bearer was hanging around somewhere.
Soon it was time for the ceremony… caught a few glimpses of Karen as she made final preparations!
What a fun couple they are!
There were cake cutting shenanigans!
The first dance and dance with the parents… it was beautiful to see them bask in their love for each other!
Did I mention that there were kids throughout the whole ceremony? They were just sooooo cuuuute! I tell you this is one community that knows how to occupy a dance floor. The dance floor was hopping even to the last minute of the wedding reception!
Thanks to Mercedes for inviting me along to meet and capture wedding memories in such a cool family and community!
